Available in French and English.

Each year, the European institutions select by competition hundreds of officials in many fields: auditing, human resources, secretariat, etc. The competitions for the European Institutions are particularly selective. They rely on the general knowledge of the candidates as well as their analysis, synthesis and drafting abilities. Only the very best succeed. This book is aimed at all the candidates for the European Institutions' competitions who wish to prepare well for the verbal and numerical reasoning MCQ and thus to pass the test. This test is probably the most selective one. The candidate has to answer logic questions in a limited amount of time. To pass the test, the candidate needs a good methodology and practice. This book offers both. It includes a methodology and 180 questions with answers. It enables you to define a strategy, manage your time, avoid logical mistakes and master the basic principles of mathematics… This second edition takes the latest changes in competition into account. All our questions are based on tests taken from the 2005 competitions. Only the best prepared will succeed.

I succeeded the MCQ thanks this book.

very useful (2006-04-20)  de Marcela    Italy

It's a very useful book if you have never participated in a paper competition organized by EPSO.
If you'll have CBT verbal reasoning, this book can help you to understand the methodology but you have to practice using interactive tests.

Good Exercise (2007-02-19)  de Mario Ignatov    Bulgaria

One of the principal merits of this book is its degree of difficulty. If you score between 50% and 70% on its tests, expect your real score to be over 80% The texts in the book are a little longer than the texts on the computer-based test, where by the way, there should not normally be more than 1 question per text. In the book you will find series of questions after each text.
